Fraser finishes Joe Martin the way he started it
Gord wins third of 4 stages at Joe Martin

Fayetteville, ARK - Gord Fraser finished off a clean sweep of the Joe Martin Stage Race for the Health Net Pro Cycling Team Presented by Maxxis. Fraser won the fourth stage - his third stage win of the four-stage race - and sealed the overall title in the process.

Fraser won the 90-minute stage in a sprint over Shawn Milne (Navigators) and Richard England (Priority Health). Fraser and his five teammates had to withstand constant pressure from Jelly Belly, whose bike sponsor is based in Arkansas, and Toyota-United, whose Ivan Stevic was just 0:21 behind Fraser, in third place overall, tied on time with Fraser's teammate Scott Moninger.

But the team held off the rest of the field and delivered Fraser to the line for the win.

In addition to Fraser's three wins, Scott Moninger won the Stage 3 uphill time trial, to give Health Net Presented by Maxxis wins in all four stages. The strong showing in Arkansas give the team momentum going into this week's pre-Pennsylvania Triple Crown (more commonly known as Philly Week) mini-camp and next weekend's Tri-Peaks Challenge.

As for Fraser, his form is starting to approach its peak, which bodes well for the critical races coming up in early June.
